LTPAD - Long Term Participant and Athlete Development
Also know as Canadian Sport for Life (CS4L), LTPAD is something that has been around for a while now. Many of our members have heard about it and seen some early implementation attempts, but there is still a lot of mystery around the concept. We have created this page to help educate our members on the topic, as well as provide resources and examples of LTPAD in Action.
Recently OSSA was awarded a grant to help subsidize the formation of a working group that was tasked with coming up with an implementation for LTPAD. The final report of the group is now available and can be found below.
We hope that members are excited by the changes coming in our sport and will continue to work with us as we move towards adopting LTPAD by providing feedback, patience and understanding.
