Canada Games Selection details available.

A protocol for Canada Winter Games Team Selection, Medal Award and Skater notification is now available!

This document has been prepared in order to provide additional information and clarity around the CWG Team Selection, Medal Award and Skater Notification process beyond that included in the CWG Technical Bulletin.  It also replaces a portion of the Technical Bulletin to afford skaters and their parents greater latitude in making team choices should they qualify for membership to both the ST and LT teams.

The document includes very well-defined dates and times for actions by skaters, OSSA staff and the OSSA Technical Committee.  These dates and times must be honoured in order to ensure that OSSA staff have sufficient time to prepare the necessary notices to the Ontario Team leaders and CWG organizers.  A failure on the part of a skater to abide by the dates and times called for in this document could, at the discretion of the Technical Committee, cause their eligibility for team membership to be withdrawn.

Questions regarding this document can be sent to the OSSA business office via an email to Jackie Deschenes.
