Concussions in Speed Skating

In December the Board of Directors received an informative presentation from David Hickman of theCambridge club and have agreed to work with the Club as they implement a pilot project on screening for concussions.

The Gloucester Club has also done a lot of work in this area and the Board will be working with them as well.  Hopefully with these two groups combining their expertise we will have a comprehensive concussion screening process for all clubs to review by the Annual General Meeting which will be held May 13 – 15th.

Keep an eye on our Concussion Management page for updates.
