Experts Express

The Coaches Association of Ontario is now accepting applications for the Experts Express program.

Clubs and coaches can apply to receive expert training, at no cost to the coach or club, in one of five fields: sport psychology, nutrition, leadership & management, strength & conditioning, or para sport.

Application deadline is July 10.


Changing the Game

The Coaches Association of Ontario has announced a project to enhance female leadership in sport. This project is made possible by the support of Ontario150. This is a unique opportunity to participate as an apprentice coach, a mentor coach, or an accelerator with areas of expertise. 

Mentor and Accelerator applications close April 28.

Apprentice applications close May 12.

Safety Mats for sale

The Bruce County club is looking to sell its safety mats as soon as possible. The used mats are 8 feet x 4 feet x 1 foot. Asking price is $4,000 for 42 mats.

SSC Board of Directors 

Speed Skating Canada is looking for interested, qualified candidates to join its Board of Directors and help lead the organization as it begins its new quadrennial. 

The deadline for nominations is 5pm EST, on Monday, May 5, 2017.




Coach Initiation module

For a limited time, the Coaching Association of Canada is offering the Coach Initiation e-learning module for free.

This module takes approximately 1 hour to complete and provides valuable training for new coaches and expereienced coaches alike. Professional Development Points are available for certified coaches.
