Selection Criteria

An athlete must be a resident of Ontario for one year prior to his/her nomination for carding status and be a member of their Provincial/Multi Sport Organization (and/or their National Sport Organization.

An updated Quest for Gold Selection Criteria document has been posted below.  This document includes ranking points for athletes that participated in the 2010 Canada Winter Games.  This selection criteria document has been derived from Technical Bulletin #22 which was created in 2007 – 2008 and has been the basis for Quest for Gold athlete selection since that time.  Omitting the Canada Winter Games from the 2011-2012 criteria was an unfortunate error that is being corrected with the posting of this updated document.  Should you have further questions please contact the OSSA office.
