Last Week of the Community Better Challenge!

The ParticipACTION Community Better Challenge is coming to a close at the end of June. The updated leaderboard after 3 weeks is available and it's still anyone's race!

Support your club by attending the final two sessions of Spring Virtual Training on Saturday June 26 at 10am and Monday June 28 at 7:30pm! Register HERE.

Ontario Speed Skating has received funding through the Community Better Challenge, which is supported by the Government of Canada. OSSA will track the number of active minutes in each live session, and submit the minutes to ParticipACTION through our organization’s portal.

So far, we have logged 12,550 active minutes in June through the OSSA Virtual Training sessions!

At the end of the month, the club that shows up the most will receive $400 to support their club!

OSSA would like to congratulate Jackie Fackoury, who has been nominated to the ISU Short Track Officials List and upgraded to an International Starter! Jackie regularly starts at meets across Ontario and at SSC National Events. The list of ISU Officials can be viewed HERE.

Thank you to everyone who has joined the Participaction Community Better Challenge so far! Canadians have logged over 50 million minutes of Physical Activity in the month of June with over 8000 of those minutes coming from OSSA Virtual Training programs! We are half way through our June sessions and there are still 2 weeks remaining in the Spring Series of OSSA Virtual Dryland!
