Time Submissions for Canadian Short Track Championships - Due Sept 6

The Canadian Short Track Championships will be held in Montreal on September 29 - October 1, 2023. This Championship event is for the top 40 skaters per gender across Canada, including the National and NextGen Teams. Information about this meet can be found in the SSC Short Track Master Bulletin.

Ontario skaters seeking entry into the Canadian Short Track Championships by time must send the following information to techdirector@ontariospeedskating.ca by 11:59pm on Wednesday September 6th:

Age before July 1, 2023

Gender category for racing

Club

Accurate fastest 500m and 1500m times (111m track) skated between January 1, 2023 and September 10, 2023 in gender-specific OR mixed gender racing categories. Please include the date and location where the times were skated.

Skaters competing on the Sept 9-10 weekend must still send their intent and general information to SSO by September 6th. Any updated PBs on Sept 9-10 must be sent to SSO promptly (by 8:00pm on Sept 10 at the latest) so that SSO can meet SSC's entry deadline for this event.

Ontario skaters based at a training centre or training out of province must also submit their name and information to SSO, as registration for Short Track National Events is completed by each Provincial/Territorial branch.
